Why your GivingTuesday gift matters
Your gift helps sustain NCMSDC’s work connecting minority-owned businesses to certification, professional development, relationships and opportunities to showcase their expertise.
Think about what an invitation to a national conference, regional matchmaking or a business development program could mean for an entrepreneur ready to take the next step. One introduction or one room can change what is possible for a business, and for the community it serves.
This GivingTuesday, we are raising $12,000 by December 1 to keep those doors opening. Gifts of every size contribute to that shared opportunity.
With gratitude,
The NCMSDC Board and Team
One open door
For Armetha Pihlstrom, Founder and CEO of Pihlstrom Consulting Group, earning MBE certification in 2025 was the beginning. Her firm went on to manage NCMSDC’s 2026 Business Growth Summit and Invitational Scholarship Golf Classic, from strategy and communications to execution.
“Earning MBE certification in 2025 opened a door. What we did after walking through it is the real story.”
